    Intro call

    Day 3–5

    30-minute video call with the hiring engineering lead. Two-way fit check: your questions count as much as ours.

  3. Step 03

    Technical conversation

    Day 7–10

    90 minutes of real technical discussion — architecture walk-through, a pair-coding exercise, or a design critique depending on role. No gotcha whiteboard trivia.

  4. Step 04

    Team conversations

    Day 12–15

    Three 30-minute calls with potential teammates. We want to know if we'd enjoy working together — and you do too.

  5. Step 05

    Offer

    Day 16–18

    Written offer with full comp transparency: base, equity (where applicable), benefits, and leveling rationale. We don't lowball — opening offer is our best offer.

Minimum 20 days taken per year. We enforce the floor — burnout is a lagging indicator.

Home-office budget

$2,500 one-time office setup + $100/month for ongoing tooling and subscriptions.

Learning budget

$2,000/year for courses, conferences, and books. Plus two paid learning days per quarter.

Sabbatical after 4 years

6 weeks fully paid sabbatical after every 4 years. Repeatable.

Quarterly team offsite

Each pod meets in person every quarter. The full company twice a year.

No on-call for features

Feature engineers don't get paged. Infra / SRE rotation is separate and paid a premium.
